So, with the Holiday and all, I totally blew another week of weight loss. I am up 2 pounds for the week. I totally forgot to measure myself this morning, so I don't have those results...I'm sure I am better for not knowing them though. :0)
The cool thing about this process, is there is no pressure. Usually I am involved in some weight loss competition with a member of my family, and there is all of this stress to lose the weight. "2-B" asked me the other day what my goal is, and I actually had to stop and think. Typically I am aiming for a certain number on the scale, or striving to fit into a certain clothing size. But not this time. My only goal is to run the marathon. Obviously, I want (and NEED) to lose weight, and obviously, I want to wear my smaller clothes that are waiting ever so patiently in those large bins in my closet, but as far as my day-to-day mindset is concerned, there is no real stress about the scale.
We just completed our 3rd week of marathon training, and it was fairly routine. I wasn't able to get in my 1.5 mile run on Thursday (Thanksgiving) as I was getting a different kind of workout done in the kitchen! However, Saturday approached, and I had to conquer a 3 mile run. I had been eating non-stop since Thursday, and I wasn't really feeling up to it. But I put on my game-face, and made it happen. I just told myself that I would take it slow. And that's what I did...in the beginning. But as my body was warming up, I surprisingly felt good, and I just kept bumping up the pace...until I reached my fastest pace ever...I sprinted the last 1/2 mile at 6.5/mph. It's crazy to me that I struggled to get to the gym in the first place, but then once I nailed my fastest 3 mile run ever (3 miles in 33 minutes) I felt amazing! I celebrated like any chubby girl would...with a piece of fudge! :0)
Other exciting news: I have signed up for my first races! I registered for my first "official" 5K which I will run on December 12th, and then I registered for Safari Park's (formerly The San Diego Wild Animal Park) Half Marathon which I will be running on March 13th. I guess I'm committed to run at least a half marathon. :0)
Lover of Jesus...A Wife...A Mother...A Daughter...A Sister...A Friend...A Runner...A Baker...An Adventurer...yeah, that about sums it up!

The Year My Brother Brought a No-Bake Cheesecake to the Gourmet Thanksgiving...
Thanksgiving 2010 was incredible! We had delicious eats, and wonderful company. In years past, we have had random friends or extended family members join us at our table, but this year, it was strictly immediate family.
Some things are always the same: My husband makes his secret-recipe cheese ball, a 2 pound box of Sees Candy is offered with the Horse devours, at least one of the children is sick with a fever, Jenni is thankful for another year of marriage, Anna sobs during her speech, and my brother ALWAYS finds something to complain about.
Some things are always different: the menu.
This year I made...
Cider Bourbon-Glazed Roast Turkey with Shallot Gravy. I tried a new brine this year, and as usual, the turkey was perfectly moist!
Cheddar Bacon Biscuits. The interesting thing about this recipe is, is that you discard a little bit of the bacon grease, and then you baked the biscuits in the same pan that you fried the bacon in. They were incredible straight from the oven!
Sausage-Leek Cornbread Stuffing. Two Words: "YUM.ME."
My mom made our traditional family recipe of stuffing, and then she stuffed it in baked squash. So beautiful!
My Dad made some AMAZING Glazed Baby Carrots.
And my sister Jenni made Buttermilk Chive Mashed Potatoes. They are by far the best mashed potatoes I have EVER tasted!
For dessert, my mom made some pumpkin ice cream from scratch, I made a delicious chocolate pecan pie, my brother surprised us with a no-bake cheesecake, Jenni made a pumpkin pie, and my brother-in-law, shout-out to Desmon!, brought The World's Largest Gummy Worm to share. Somehow, the pumpkin and pecan pies were WAY overshadowed by the other options...people don't know good food when it's staring them in the face!
More pictures from our holiday...
In addition to all of the predictable things, this year I am thankful for the HOPE that 2011 brings. Next year should be an amazing year. This past year has been a season of working (figuratively and literally), and 2011 SHOULD be the year of harvesting the fruits of our labor. We SHOULD be 100% debt free by the end of April. I SHOULD be done working (my paid job, that is) by the end of April. After not traveling on an airplane in over 5 years, I SHOULD be going on two airplane required vacations next year. I SHOULD participate in a 10K, half marathon, and full marathon next year. And assuming I don't die in the next 50 days, I WILL turn 30 years old, and celebrate my birthday at a party I have been planning for almost a year! Hooray for 2011! (Geesh, what will I have to post about on January 1st!?)

Tis the Season!
Let the baking begin! This week was pure baking mayhem!
It started with 2 dozen Thanksgiving Cupcakes...
Then 2 dozen Thanksgiving Fall Leaf Sugar Cookies...
Then, I was given the opportunity to bake 7 dozen gingerbread and sugar cookies for a certain gourmet cook shop here in San Diego. They were offering a cookie baking/decorating technique class, and I was asked to do the samples using their new "Message" Cutters and cookie mixes.
And then there was...Thanksgiving!

"Special Mom's Day"
Last night, as I was getting the kiddos out of the bath and ready for bed, Wyatt carefully comes to me and says, "Now mommy, I need to tell you...tomorrow is 'Special Mom's Day!'"
He had the biggest and proudest grin on his face.
Would you believe, the FIRST thing that came to my mind was to tell him that he was WRONG, and that "Mother's Day" is in May!? I'm a HORRIBLE person! But I had a (God given) moment of clarity, and realized:
1. Do NOT crush your son's spirit!
2. You do NOT need Hallmark to declare any day a holiday!
So, I mustered up some enthusiasm, and I told him, "Wow Wyatt, how neat!"
I then proceeded to put the littles to bed, and carried on with my evening chores.
I had a wonderful night of rest, Beatrice has FINALLY adjusted to the time change, and has been waking up sometime around 5:30am (instead of 4:15 am!), and Wyatt didn't wake up for almost an hour and a half after Beatrice! I had gotten Bea her breakfast, I had made the sugar cookie dough, and baked all of the cupcakes before Wyatt came BURSTING out of his room saying, "HAPPY SPECIAL MOM'S DAY!!!"
UGH! I had forgotten ALL about "Special Mom's Day"! I don't know if I didn't have faith that my almost 6 year-old son could carry a holiday all on his own, or if I was just too busy to remember. But I have to tell you, I will NEVER forget "Special Mom's Day" again! After a GIANT hug from Wyatt, he proceeded to take my order for breakfast..."Now, tell me what you want for breakfast, I will make you A.NY.THING. you want!"...a little frightened by his tone, I replied, "I'll have some Honey Nut Chex please."..."Oh, that's an easy one mom, are you sure?" (Yeah, I'm sure!)
After he brought me breakfast, and then made himself a bowl of grapes (???) for breakfast, he sat right next to me at the table, and then looked at me real serious. He said, "Mommy, I don't know how to put your clothes on you, so you are going to have to do that yourself." Hahahaha!
This is one of my favorite candid photos of Wyatt & I that was taken on "Mother's Day" in 2007.
Like-wise yesterday brought a special moment for me and my Beatrice. Some of my fondest childhood memories are the ones where I was cooking in the kitchen with my mom. Beatrice (with the aid of various baby contraptions) has been present on my back, my chest, my hip, and/or the kitchen counter for MANY baking occasions, but yesterday, she was promoted to "Sous Chef" and standed her ground on the official kitchen step ladder. We baked our first "just becuase" batch of Chocolate chip cookies together. She poured, she spilled, she measured, she spilled, she stirred, and she watched it all come together.
There is no better feeling than being around 3 of my favorite people on a wet Autumn Sunday afternoon, watching football, drinking hot mulled cider, and eating warm chocolate chip cookies together.
And at that point, I didn't even KNOW about "Special Mom's Day"!

Ode to Thanksgivings Past...
It's always a bummer to post on my blog when I don't have a week of weight loss...but instead, a weight gain. But none-the-less, considering I had more imperfect days, than perfect days of eating this week, I feel pretty darn fortunate with the results. I am up (waaa!) 1.5 pounds, and as far my measurements go, I stayed exactly the same as last week, except for my waist...I grew 1 inch there (JERK!). ;0) I had an exciting week of fitness though. Early in the week I went for a 3 mile jog outside...I had a bit of anxiety becuase our neighborhood is nothing like the flat treadmill (yes, I know, I CAN add an incline to the treadmill...but i don't.)...we have hills, lots of them, and they are STEEP! Not only did I manage the 3 mile run without stopping even once, but I completed it in the same exact time that I do on the treadmill...35 minutes. And not that it's a MAJOR deal, but Saturday's run kicked things up a notch. We had to do a 3.5 mile run. I know it's only an increase of a half mile, but for me, that was the longest I have ever run...definitely an accomplishment in my book! :0)
This is a week packed full of baking and cooking...but hopefully I did most of my eating last week! I have 2 cupcake orders this week, 1 sugar cookie order, and per tradition, I am hosting my 8th Thanksgiving. Here are some of my favorite photos from "Brumbaugh" Thanksgivings past...
Pulling my first "bird" out of the oven back in 2002 (This was the start to a WONDERFUL tradition! I learned that a baby gate was an ESSENTIAL tool to keep the ADULTS out of the kitchen!)...
My sister Anna's FULL plate in 2004 (This Thanksgiving I was 2 weeks away from giving birth to Wyatt. My first, and only nephew at the time, shout-out to Trevor, was a lot more sick than anyone realized. More than half of us (including a VERY pregnant me) were extremely ill for about the next 72 hours after Thanksgiving)...
We went from 1 boy in 2004 to 4 boys in 2005...
And apparently I didn't eat at all in the next 12 months, becuase I went from looking like THAT, to looking like THIS is at Thanksgiving 2006...
I was pregnant with Beatrice, and many inside jokes were had in 2007...you can see it all over our faces (at least that's what I remember when I see this picture)...
We finally had a little girl at our Thanksgiving table in 2008 (this is the year we all brought our "wedding" toasting glasses and used those for our cocktails)...
In 2009 my dad and step-mom moved back home to San Diego just in time for Thanksgiving (this was the year my brother in-law (shout out to David!) was in charge of the desserts)...
I'm looking forward to the memories that will be made at Thanksgiving 2010!

I "heart" Zumba!
The gym is definitely a social activity! When I go with my "2-B" it is so funny to see all these random people saying hi to her. She claims that she isn't a very sociable person, but that girl is POPULAR...at the gym! Not that it's a competition (did that just come out of my mouth!?) but I'm the newbie, and I know NO ONE at the gym! Except...that I do! It's incredible all of the people that workout at my Y that I had no idea about! 3 gals from my MOPS group, 2 gals from my church, Wyatt's drum instructor, and of course, now I'm waving to a few of the peeps I am meeting in the fitness classes that I am regularly attending. So much fun!
Today was my 3rd time venturing to Zumba. It's Thursday, so the instructor was the "country-flare" guy. Like I had expected, with practice, I am figuring out the steps. I had a BLAST! For a moment, I even thought I MUST look good doing the routine! That is until I caught a glimpse of a reflection in the window of this SWEATY chubby girl in workout clothes and frizzed out hair from her french-braid the day before...yeah, I still do NOT look good in Zumba, HAHAHAHA! This is a class I would love to experience with all of my family and friends. I can just imagine us having the most FUN doing it altogether. I <3 Zumba!
I just wish I didn't <3 Pizza Hut! I will be shocked if I experience weight loss this week!

This Just In...
Week 2 of WW is done...I lost another 3 pounds, I lost another inch in my thighs and my hips, and I stayed the same in my waist (BOOO!) and my chest (my husband is cool with that!). In addition to that, I am stoked to report that I can rock most of my size 14's!
As I mentioned, I got pumped up at "Pump It!" on Friday, and I was fairly sore on Saturday. Unfortunately (for my sore body), Saturday was the day I had to run another 3 miles. I had my "game face" on, and I completely redeemed myself after Thursday's fiasco! I was able to run the full 3 miles without any head tripping, and I finished in 35 minutes. I was even MORE sore on Sunday, LOL! But luckily, "Sunday is a day of rest"...even for me. :0)
Saturday brought with it many food temptations. We started the day off at a morning birthday party. There were donuts, fruit, donuts, coffee, donuts, juice...and did I mention donuts!?
The chocolate iced donuts were like 3+ inches thick...they were CRAZY! I had a single bite of Beatrice's donut, and somehow, the single bite didn't even seem to be worth the calories. I switched my intake to the coffee! "Thanksgiving Blend", with 4 Splendas, and quite a bit of "Gingerbread" flavored cream...YUMMM!
After the party, we rushed home becuase my mom was taking the kids to Wyatt's drum class...Rick & I had a hot date! We were given these (fundraiser) certificates for a free lunch at Outback Steakhouse. We were given salad, bread, a drink, a side dish, and then your choice of a cheese burger, steak, or chicken breast. I ordered...
I had no dressing on my salad, and I even sent my steamed veggies back when I discovered that they were slathered in butter. The chicken was INCREDIBLE! After that, Rick & I headed to Fashion Valley Mall, where it was SO.MUCH.FUN. to casually browse through every store we never usually go in to. While at the mall, we each enjoyed a "tall" light peppermint mocha frappacino...DE-LI-CIOUS!

What a difference 3 days makes!
So, I came off of a great week of eating healthy and consistent exercise. But, while I was at my sisters house, watching all of our children...I didn't get in a single day of organized exercise or marathon training. In addition to that, I ate...and not healthy things. I asked my sister to rid her house of tempting foods for me. She was kind enough to hide all of the Halloween candy...which I found. She explained the ice cream being left in the freezer, as..."That's tempting!? That doesn't sound good to me!" HAHAHA! But my sister did have healthy options too. She purchased all of the food I had requested for myself. And that would have been great...if I would have eaten THOSE things! Instead I ate what I made for the kids...bow-tie pasta and garlic bread, peanut butter and jam sandwiches (my sister has FAR surpassed me in the jam-making business!), and homemade silver-dollar cinnamon banana pancakes (with whip cream on top...of course). This was also my first week back at MOPS since being off of the fast. Those ladies make some DELICIOUS breakfast casseroles and pastries! For the sake of my diet alone, I am excited to report that due to the holidays, we only have 1 MOPS meeting in these next 8 weeks!
So, I hadn't worked out since Monday morning, I skipped one of my days of marathon training, AND I ate poorly. After Jenni & Desmon got home from their 3 day Anniversary rendezvous, the kids & I booked it straight to the gym. I couldn't skip another day of marathon training! I had to run 3 miles.
I soon realized I am my own Sabatuer!
Every bad decision I had made in the previous 3 days was haunting me on the treadmill. I was exhausted. I wanted to quit half way through. I thought I was going to throw-up. I REALLY wanted to quit after the 2nd mile. But I pushed on. I was head-tripping about my kids being down in the childcare (like I do every time). I was certain that I was going to hurl. I was done. I quit running at 2.5 miles. I walked the last half mile.
I was disappointed. I was so hard on myself. Despite all of my stupid food decisions over the last 3 days, I thought I could push through it. I thought, "I can do anything I put my mind too!" My mind was weak. And worse than that, was the looming task of weighing myself this morning. That couldn't be good. The kids & I went home, and found comfort in "Daddy!" I'm so grateful to have a loving, gentle husband.
I was in bed before 8 p.m., and it was just what I needed. Rest. As much as I love spending time at my sister's house, "There is no place like home."
After a great night of sleep, I took on the scale. I can do this. Whatever the gain is, I will just work at taking it off. 3 pounds? 5 pounds?
WHAT!? I LOST 2.5 POUNDS!?
What grace! I was undeserving.
This morning after breakfast and a couple of chores, we hit up the Y in Santee. This was the first time I had been back there since I took Wyatt to "mommy & me gymnastics" when he was 18 months old...GOOD TIMES! I was only supposed to walk 30 minutes today, according to my marathon training, but when my girlfriend asked me to run around the track instead, I couldn't say no. So we ran 1.5 miles outside, and then went in for a BRUTAL hour and 15 minutes of "Pump It!". I'm certain that it will even be difficult to sit on the toilet tomorrow. I can feel my butt clinching even when I stand normally. But somehow, being home, and having a great weigh-in this morning, makes all of that sound just about great! :0)

A little sugar, a pinch of salt, and a dallop of cavier!?
I love my sister Jenni! (Have I said that enough on this blog!?) My sister Jenni has pretty much always been a "have much" kinda gal. Growing up, I would ALWAYS be broke (becuase I would spend my money as soon as I got it...probably on Twinkies & Hershey bars)...and Jenni would ALWAYS have money in her pocket (because she saved it for just the right item she wanted to purchase...lucky for me, that usually involved a Snickers bar for her favorite (chubby) sister!). As time has marched on, somethings don't change. And Jenni being a "have much" has continued it's course. Jenni is fortunate to have 2 sets of parents (my parents, and her in-laws) that have been very generous to her and her family. However, my sister is also one of the hardest workers I know! She has been waitressing for YEARS, and at one point, she even earned "Server of the Year" for the entire State of California!
(Back on point Elizabeth...) So, like I said, my sister has some of the finer things in life...she is well deserving of those finer things in life...and the best part is (to me, LOL!), is that she has always been generous in sharing her finer things!
In addition to having a WONDERFUL (and overwhelming) time with all the kiddos at Jenni's house, I was able to live-it-up Jenni style while I was there. It was great...and my bathing experience was no exception! :0)
They have an amazingly large soaking tub, and my sister has every single kind of bath product and tool you could think of...and I tried them ALL! :0)
After all 10 little eyes were closed, and 10 little hands were lying still in their beds, I took a bath. I started with just a simple HOT bath, and added a little bubbly. Then I took a scoop of bath salts and added that to the mix as well. I then sat and soaked awhile. I wrapped up my texting fest with a girlfriend, and I got down to business. I came across a jar of "bath cavier" and added that to the water...I'm pretty sure it's just a fancy name for bath salts. Then, I indulged and rubbed the sugar scrub all over my arms and legs. Lastly, I discovered the whole "foot care" selection. I rubbed the exfoliating scrub deep into my tired feet, and used this funky brush to intensify the treatment. It was AMAZING!
Disclaimer: I love my life. I have been given much. I have earned much. I am grateful for the things we have acquired and experienced in our home. However, occasionally it's fun to kick things up a notch at a spa, a restaurant, or...my sisters house! :0)

What a difference a week makes
So, overall I lost 3 pounds on my first week back on WW, which I am very happy about, especially considering the whole gallbladder situation. I usually like to lose closer to 5 pounds a week, but it is considered healthy to lose 2-3 pounds a week...so that's right on target. In addition to the results on the scale, I also lost 1 inch in my chest, waist and hips. This is the first time I have ever measured myself, and so these results were pretty cool to see. :0)
I went to a 2nd Zumba class over the weekend, and although I continue to look like a LOSER, I do have a GREAT time! The first class was taught by a middle aged male, and even though all Zumba classes have a Latin flare, my first class was Latin/Country Line Dancing!? It was difficult for me to remember all of the steps, but given enough practice, I am sure I will eventually catch on. Saturday's class was taught by a younger female, and her Latin flare was accented with a hip-hop style. I don't care how much practice and attention I give, my body will NEVER move or "roll" like that! But keeping that in mind, I surprisingly preferred Saturday's class. It kicked things up a notch, and was definitely more challenging.
I did my usual running on the treadmill this past week, and on Friday I punched out a 5K on the treadmill...running the whole time. This has been so much fun (and rewarding, on a personal level) to accomplish these goals! Sometimes the goal is all about distance, and sometimes it's about speed. I was stoked last week when I discovered that I could run 1.5 miles at 6 m/h. So neat!...at least I think so! :0)
Yesterday was the first day of marathon training. I was only required to run 1.5 miles, and after I nailed that, I went to a new fitness class..."Pump it!"...or, as my husband calls it, "Hump it!"...yes, I am married to a 19 year old! This class was labeled as "Intermediate/Advanced"...and it completely lived up to it's label! It is almost identical to the circuit training I was doing at home, however, in the fitness class, I wasn't stopping to take Beatrice to the bathroom, or to push play on the DVD player, or to get the crayons out of the art box, etc. I didn't realize what a difference it makes to keep (keep, keep, keep...) going until now. I was worked! And it felt GOOD!
The next 3 days I will be working just as hard, I will be experiencing different challenges, and I expect to reap even bigger rewards. As I type, I am sitting at my Sister Jenni's computer, at her house in Escondido. Her and her husband are celebrating their 9th wedding anniversary, and I am the "mother" to 5 kids, age 5 years to 6 months, over these next 3 days. I am so excited about this opportunity! I adore my niece and nephews, and I look forward to this time we are going to spend together!

Me Against the Machine
Well, some kind of exciting news...
1. I'm doing really good on the whole eating healthy thing. I gained those 3 pounds over the weekend, and while it has taken me all of this week to lose those 3lbs, I'm super stoked that my body did actually lose them. I thought for sure that I would gain back about 10 lbs after fasting...but I was hoping for no more than 5 lbs...just due to eating in general (healthy foods or not). I am so grateful that I can continue on the path to weight loss! :0)
2. A few weeks ago, I decided that I was going to run the Rock and Roll Marathon this coming year with any friends and family that would like to join me. I think there are about 10 +/- of us that are currently on board. I have never done anything like this before! I have ran a 5K before, but that was just me a couple of years ago pushing the kids in the stroller at Lake Murray. I have never ran amongst hundreds or thousands of people...and I certainly have never run anything close to 26.2 miles! I'm looking forward to the challenge. There is a strict training schedule that will assist me in meeting this goal. In addition, I plan to participate in some organized 5K & 10K races, and am highly considering doing Safari Park's (formerly, "The Wild Animal Park") first annual half marathon in March.
3. After not having a gym membership in over 8 years, I finally joined my local YMCA earlier this week. I thought I could do the marathon training without it, but I have been proven wrong. The kids are just getting too heavy for me to push in the stroller while running. Wyatt can run for a while but then he gets tired, and then our paces are different. I have been to the gym 3 times this week, and it's been pretty neat. It will definitely take some getting used to, to running on a treadmill versus running out in the open air. I feel a little bit like a mechanical robot running in place on this machine. But I will trade in feeling like a droid any day of the week for not having to push 70 pounds up hill in a stroller. Right now the Y has a deal for all Kaiser members that they wave your $99 "initiation" fee. In addition, they have very generous price breaks on the monthly dues for all families that make below a certain amount of money. In addition, they have tons of free (with your monthly membership fee) fitness classes for me, and for Wyatt too! The childcare is free, and everything is brand-spanking-new! The facility just opened a few months ago. I got my booty kicked in a Zumba class yesterday, and I look forward to trying the other classes as time permits with my marathon training. :0)

Sunday.
So, Sunday was Halloween...a.k.a. my mom's birthday. I always observe the Sabbath...a.k.a. I don't workout on Sundays. LOL! So only celebrating was to be had...a.k.a. eating.
Unfortunately, I can't even remember what I had for breakfast on Sunday...obviously nothing that exciting, and certainly nothing close to comparing with Saturday's breakfast.
We went to church, and then the whole family headed to our traditional lunch at Corvette Diner for my mom's birthday. We love Corvette Diner anyway, but on Halloween, it is the BEST! All of the staff dress up, and most of the customers do as well! For some (normal-person reason) I did not capture any pictures of our eats, but I can report that I had an Almond Mocha shake, a few chili-cheese fries from the community plate, and then I ate 1/2 of one of Wyatt's cheeseburger sliders, and 1/4 of Bea's grilled cheese sandwich. I was stuffed. Here are some pictures from that portion of our day (some how it looks like I dressed up as a naked person, but I assure you that I was fully clothed!)....
Since we were in the area (Point Loma) I suggested that we head on over to "Cupcakes Squared". All I can say is "wow". I read about this cupcake bakery in the "Family" magazine a couple of years ago, and I have been pining to visit ever since! Their variety and presentation was quite impressive! However, I will say, that after having a single bite of 5 different flavors, I think my cupcakes are 100% better...I'm just sayin'! ;0) The other thing I will say, is that not only do they sell regular size cupcakes, but they also sell mini cupcakes. I THINK they sell a mini version of all of their cupcakes. Should you want to venture to Cupcakes Squared, I would highly recommend that you purchase the mini cupcakes only. Most of the cupcakes were SO rich, and the minis give you the perfect amount of cupcake! The cupcake I chose was the Chocolate Macadamia Nut (picture below).
We then headed over to Sea World to partake in their Halloween Festivities. We met some friends (shout out to Katie) and had a really fun time! We tag-teamed all of the trick-or-treat candy stations, we got choked up at the dolphin show (it gets me EVERY TIME!), and we ended our day by having my mom watch the little girls, and Katie & I took our boys on Ship Wreck Rapids...SO.MUCH.FUN!
After Sea World, my clan went home and waited for the ONE group of trick-or-treaters to visit our house. The kids did not eat dinner, and I didn't need to...but when has that ever stopped me!? I had one last item on my food-related-bucket-list before I sold my soul to dieting on Monday...The McRib! I didn't get a soda or french fries, just the sandwich. Much to my sister's disgust, I thought it was soooo good!
And just like Saturday, I did not get sick on Sunday. However, this morning at 3:30 I thought for sure that I was finally going to hurl. I hovered over the toilet for about 15 minutes, and then when I still hadn't thrown up, I realized I was missing precious moments of sleep, and so I went back to bed and I figured I would deal with the "up-chucking" when my body was serious. I never did get sick.
And since I did not throw up, and against the will of my unsettled stomach, I woke up and worked out. I did an hour of circuit training, and then I went for a 3 mile walk/jog. It felt soooo good! Starting today, I have returned to my Weight Watchers diet.
Oh, and for the record, when I weighed myself this morning, I gained 3 pounds. I'm not surprised. LOL!
